Students in shock as JKBOSE issues notification for submission of forms
Students of Higher Secondary level in Kashmir were sent to shock as the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education issued a notification asking the candidates of class 11th and 12th to submit their examination forms.
As per a notification of which Kashmir Reformer holds a copy, the students of class 11th have been asked to submit their examination forms from August 18 to September 7 and students of class 12 upto August 24.
According to students, the move of asking students to submit examination forms before rationalization of syllabus is unjustified and as per them this cause depression among the students. They said that JKBOSE will at first do rationalization of syllabus which they had promised earlier.
As soon the students came to know of the notification, they were sent to shock. “JKBOSE released exam forms and decision on reduction of syllabus is yet to be taken. Injustice is visible, CBSC reduced syllabus in initial months of academic year of their students but on the contrary Jkbose hasn’t yet make a decision even when exams are on verge,” a student, Zahid Ahmad wrote on Twitter.
Another student said that JKBOSE is playing with their future.“JKBOSE is playing with our future. Schools opened for less than twenty days in more than a year. Online classes at 2G speed were nothing more than wastage of time,” another student Mozzem said.
He said that move to conduct exams has put students in depression as most of their syllabus is incomplete.
Another student, Arsalan said that, “Who gave JKBOSE the right to ruin the career of students. We have attended school for less than 2 weeks in past one year. Who can study on 50 kbps speed. They ain’t saying anything about exams or reduction in syllabus which they have already promised. They should share their strategy with students whose future is at stake.
