Indian Coast Guard Job Recruitment 2022: Indian Coast Guard has invited online applications from Indian male/female candidates for various branches as Assistant Commandant posts.
Eligible candidates can apply for the posts through the Coast Guard recruitment website joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.
Vacancy Details of Indian Coast Guard Job Recruitment 2022:
- General Duty (GD)/ CPL (SSA): 50 Posts
- Tech (Engg)/ Tech (Elect): 20 Posts
- Law: 1 Post
Eligibility Criteria:
– General Duty (GD): Should hold a degree from a recognized university with minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
– Commercial Pilot Licence (SSA): Should have passed 12th class or equivalent with physics and mathematics as subjects. The candidates who have completed diploma are also eligible
– Technical (Electrical/Electronics): Should hold an Engineering degree from a recognized university in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
– Technical (Mechanical): Should hold an Engineering degree from a recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Or AMIE
– Law Entry: A degree in Law from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
Selection Process:
The selection of Officer Recruits is based on an all India order of merit which is based on the performance of candidates in various stages (I – V) of examination. Clearing of Stage I, II, III, IV and V is compulsory for recruitment in ICG.
All candidates will be compulsorily subjected to biometric, photo identification and document verification during various stages of examination.
Examination Fees: The examination fee is Rs.250/- which has to be paid through online mode by using net banking or by usingVisa/Master/Maestro/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
How to Apply:
Applications will be accepted only ‘Online’ from 17 Aug 2022 (1100 hrs) to 07 Sep 2022 (1730 hrs). The candidates are to log on to https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in and follow the instructions for registering yourself with an e-mail ID/mobile number. The candidates are to ensure the validity of e-mail and mobile numbers at least up to 31 Dec 2023.
