Arti Dogra, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Rajasthan cadre has emerged as a real hero for society by dint of her work. Even, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised her for introducing several models for change in society.
IAS Arti Dogra was born to Colonel Rajendra Dogra in the Indian Army and mother Kumkum who was the principal in a school. It is said that when she was born, doctors categorically said that Arti would not be able to study in a normal school. She proved the world that “DREAM IS THE WISH THAT YOUR HEART MAKES” and you can fulfill all your wishes if you are focused.
Ignoring the doctors and conventional society, Arti did her schooling from a prestigious Welham Girls School in Dehradun and completed her graduation in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, DU.
Arti has been handed over many top positions in her career and she handled the responsibilities efficiently. She is the recipient of many honours for accomplishing her tasks very well. She served as managing director of Jodhpur Discom and as the collector of Ajmer district of Rajasthan.
In 2019, President Ram Nath Kovind conferred National Awards to her. Later, she was posted in Ajmer as a District Election Officer and she played a crucial role during the assembly polls in Rajasthan.
She encouraged the differently-abled people to cast their vote in the elections. She arranged vehicles, Divyang Raths for them and assigned the Booth Level Officers for their assistance.
She was widely praised for making other arrangements like wheelchairs. Due to which 17,000 differently-abled people reached polling booths.
Arti had gone through a lot of struggles, but she never gave up and accepted all challenges in a positive manner. Despite all the difficulties and hardships she had faced, Arti touched the pinnacle of success.
